Just Under a Year.....

I am just shy of a year immersed in the sewing world. Sewing garments always seemed like such a stretch - a long term goal maybe even, but here I am testing patterns, and even sewing strike offs! (See those ghosts from So Cheeky!?) I started with a basic sewing machine and now I have two sergers and a coverstitch machine (which I will talk about more at some point).

The sewing world has taught me sew many things (see what I did there ;)) One of the most important lessons I have learned is to trust that I have the ability to make beautiful things.

One of the most amazing things about the community of seamstresses has been the support people offer. In a cruel world, I have met some of the most down to earth and amazing people! The last year has been amazing!
